Marcus Tondo was born in Oberndorf, Germany, in 1974.
He gets his degree in Photography and Graphic Designer at the Istituto d’Arte Adolfo Venturi, Modena (Italy)

After his first experiences at several photography studios in Emilia Romagna he moves to Milan, where he specializes in runway, fashion and still-life photography.

His collaborations include specialized fashion magazines such as WWD, Style.com, Vogue.com, VogueRunway, MF Fashion, Vogue Italia, as well as fashion brands.

Over the years, Marcus has achieved a particular know-how on runway detail photography.

Among his fashion clients, Marcus Tondo shoots for brands such as Loewe, Balmain, Brioni, Carolina Herrera, Dolce&Gabbana, Moncler, Dsquared2, Proenza Schouler, Rochas, Yamamoto Zimmermann.Adidas, Reem Acra. For Brioni he also curates the still-life photo production.

Marcus Tondo brings his experience in portraiture, dedicating utmost care in the framing of the subject, achieving a natural and candid look.

Sense of timing, discretion and empathy with the subject are the distinguishing characteristics of his photography.

Since 2019, Marcus Tondo has opened his own studio in Milan, close to the Certosa di Garegnano.

There he shoots for his clients, personal projects or collaborates with other companies and photographers.
